We pride ourselves on our 'Customer First' approach, and to support this, we are looking for a Delivery Route Planner to join our team in Seaham.

Role Profile

• Daily planning of routes for c 50 vehicles  – covering the deliveries across the UK
• Planning around 1100 delivery drops a day with collections
• Planning to weight, cube and time
• Using PTV routing application - building routes through the afternoon with customer orders
• Liaising with and allocating work to a predominantly subcontractor base
• Operational query handling and working with customer service teams to resolve issues

Experience

• Previous Planning experience ideally with a delivery route planning application
• Good geographical knowledge of the north of England
• Work well under pressure, part of a wider team of planners covering all sites
• Positive person with good communication and query resolution skills
• Good IT skills and ability to adapt to new routing systems
• Excel knowledge
